A Socrates Cafe is a gahering of people who take seriously the proposition that, "The unexamined life is not worth living." What we do is gather, propose several questions which we have been thinking about in our personal lives, then, as a group, we vote on which question we want to discuss. It is not an academic gathering, but rather it is a bunch of regular people who bring their personal experiences and open minds to group discussion. The people are open, accepting and kind.

There are two regular bar trivia/quiz nights happening in Busan.

Starface:
A regular host. Trivia usually starts between 8 and 8:30. Its 1000w entry per person and the winning team gets a bottle of tequila.

Vinyl Underground:
A different host each week with a different theme. Starts before 8:00 pm. 2000w per person, max 5 people per team. Winners get drink coupons. Beer rounds most weeks.

After a fairly long break, due to a broken projector, Vinyl Underground's Movie Night has returned.

It will feature a different movie every week and the organizer is aiming for a start time of 8:30 (or a touch later).

Wherever possible, movies will be shown with Korean subtitles.
