Pusanweb Bus Guide

There are several different kinds of intracity and intercity  buses available for a variety of transportation needs. Bus Lane is designated for public transportation at rush hour.

Intracity buses:

There is an extensive network of Regular, Deluxe, and Deluxe Express buses that can take you to virtually any part of the Busan Metropolitan area. Deluxe buses have air con and more seats than regular buses, while Deluxe Express buses have pay phones on board and make fewer stops than other intracity buses. All buses carry the sign of the line number and the destination  (in Korean) on the front and side of the bus. If no one seems to be waiting at a stop, drivers will occasionally proceed without stopping, so you may need to step forward to show the driver that you are waiting for his bus if no one else seems to be. You pay the fare when boarding and can use coins, 1000won notes(you'll be given change), or a Hanaro Card. To indicate that you want to get the bus at the next stop, you need to push one of the buttoms located throughout the bus, and exit from the middle exit (regular buses) or the front exit (deluxe buses).
