ABSTRACT This is a basic materials workshop for university instructors of English conversation courses who wish to introduce a speech component. Materials will be distributed that teachers can utilize to assist students in preparing, presenting, and critiquing speeches. There will be small group discussion of teaching approaches and problems concerning teaching speech that are applicable to Korean university students as well as review of the teaching materials.
