In other parts of Nampodong, friendly Piff volunteer offer assistance, guys in cowboy hats serve up the latest style of fried squid, and 'uniform girls' announce store openings and hand phone specials.

There are several street performers wandering around attracting crowds.  Pictured below is a somewhat surreal scene involving a clown and his young sidekick.  As the clown sat on the ground, uneventfully eating mandu and blowing up a few balloons, his young companion became obviously sad and out of sorts.  The crowd wasn't sure if it was part of an act or not. Then a scary looking guy in a black PIFF jacket broke through the circle of onlookers, and barked at the elder clown for a while..  Shortly thereafter, both clowns started packing up and the crowd dispersed.  A few minutes later a fresh crowd gathered as they sat eating squid served up by the guys in cowboy hats.

...and there are always plenty of Nampodong recreational standby's like shopping, drinking, punching, dancing, and of course people watching.
