You know the worst aspect of this job is that reading the new issue off of the stand is not nearly as interesting as it was before. When I first arrived in Pusan, I remember how relieved I was when I found the paper. When I realized that it would end, I elected to do prevent that from happening, but the paper might not exist at some point. I am working 25 hours a week at the hagwon and about 50 — 70 hours a month on the paper. I know that Jennifer puts in too many hours with advertising and Lee works hard at distribution. Worst, perhaps, is Eric, who has to make conversation for the entire 70 hours I work on the paper! The point is that this schedule is a killer. I have printed a list of jobs that produce the paper, and I urge anyone and everyone who appreciates the paper to commit to doing something to keep it going.
Our special needs are in ADVERTISING and CUT & PASTE. Please, try and help out in July. The articles are wonderful and I love the creativity of so many of the people in our community. The words of appreciation and encouragement I get around town are great. Financially, we are in great shape, so giving money helps, but not nearly as much as labor.
I love doing the paper, and want to keep doing it!

Typing: you must have access to Dream Internet Cafe or NetValley, or an e-mail account.
Editing: you must have access to an e-mail account, and have decent English language skills.
Cut & Paste: you must be available on Sunday; be able to cut and/or draw a straight line; and be able to use glue neatly!!!
Distribution: you must have a burning desire tovisit cool places, and can lift bundles of newspaper.
Ad Asst: you must visit advertisers, collect money, and have some creativity for making ads, and hopefully some computer skills, too.
