This restaurant is a curry house, set in the East Indian style. The service is great here, and if you can not read Korean, the waitress is more than happy to explain the menu to you. The décor is great and colorful. It's very relaxing with small private rooms separated by curtains. They have booths for two, four, or more to sit, or you can sit on the floor in the back or in the loft. Souvenirs, like Indian cigarettes, incense, and a limited amount of ingredients are available.
They serve curried chicken, beef, or vegetables. The meals are served with either saffron rice or nan bread. You have a further option of ordering your meal with or without coffee, for which a small glass of lassi can be substituted. I'd recommend the curried chicken (W7,000). It is not too spicy, but still has that great curried flavor that any curried meat should have - watch out for the bones, though. The beef curry (W8,000) is not recommended, however, since there is hardly any beef, and nearly no taste. My friend's wife ordered the saffron rice, served with potato and pineapple salad covered with thousand island dressing (YUK). Also recommended is the vegetable curry, which is actually spinach with several spices. They do not serve tandori or daul, and the portions are a tad small. If you're hungry, order your meal without the coffee, and order a large lassi (a milk-yogurt cross served milkshake or smoothie style). You have many options here ranging from mangoe to strawberry.
