The
Best of Konglish Corner '98
Here's some Konglish that
I remember when I lived in Seoul (I'm not making this up): On my way to
the Immigration office in Mok-dong, I remember seeing a sign out of the
bus window every time I went to get my visa renewed: Brest Bakery -- Baked
Flesh Daily. This, of course, was always the perfect follow-up to one of
my favorite favorite spots in Shinchon-dong: The Flush Coffee Shop.

One
of my all time favorites! This is on the takeout bag of a fastfood joint
called Tigon House. Check out these chestnuts! "'Tigon House' Itself is
our own original bland It deals with almost all kinds of fastfood menu
and it is getting fast popularity among all ages with its wonderful taste
and quality. we provide about 20 kinds of high class Italian ice cream
and delicious fried chicken imported from the US as finished food. And
of course the pizza which is made on the spot with professional cuisine.
It is especially loved by childeren and teenagers as anourishing snack
'Tigon House. the close friend of yours, will implant a vision and hope
to you, always."
