There are many ways to acess the internet from Busan.
There are thousands of PC rooms that offer high speed connections and
charge between 500-2000 won/hour. Some also offer printing and scanning
services and are open 24 hours. b You can also register for a private
ISP (Internet Service Provider) at your home. If you use a dial
up connection, you will pay for the local phone charges in addistion to
the monthly ISP fee. Local calls cost 45 won/minute but using a
special 5-digit ISP number beginning with '014' will save between 40-60%.
ADSL and Cable modem connections are also available. Contact information
and service details for major ISP's are below. When registering,
be prepared to provide your passport number, residence card number, address,
account name and the password that you want to use.
