ABSTRACT
Do your students crawl under
the table during class? Do they talk non-stop – in Korean – for the entire
lesson? What do you think that means, and what can you do about it? Often
we think students with a lot of energy have behavior problems. However,
maybe we need to reevaluate our thinking! This is a workshop designed to
motivate and interest kindergarten and elementary students in learning.
The presenter will show how to make students think and eagerly participate
in classroom activities. She will, further, demonstrate how household goods
and other everyday items can be adapted for use as interesting realia in
the classroom. Tap into your kids’ natural curiosity, and bring out the
kid in you, too!
