Camel

Type of Establishment: Bar

Location: PNU area. Go to McDonalds near the main gate. Face the main gate from McD's and turn left and walk down that side street. Turn right at the next intersection and walk about 20 paces, it's on your right hand side before the next street. Walk on downstairs.

Review: A very nice place that's super comfortable and friendly to foreigners. The owner is the ex-manager of Crossroads, so she knows how to welcome the western crowd. Nanhee is a gracious hostess and one of the finest ladies in town. They'll make you any drink that you can think of and they have lots of imported beer as well at reasonable prices. The interior is warm and classy, making you feel right at home while allowing you to lose track of time, so it's a good thing they stay open late. You may never have to leave, given that there's a computer hooked up to the internet, allowing you to surf or check email while you sip a beverage. They are quite responsive to musical requests and have a decent selection of western music to choose from. You'll often meet foreigners here and koreans that speak English very well. Something a little different.
