Western Bar (The Rodeo)

Location: From the Kyoungsoung Univ./Bukyoung Univ. subway station, walk toward Bukyoung University. Getting near the main gate of Bukyoung, look for it on the right side of the street. The bar has wood paneling on the facade and a circular sign with a black and yellow longhorn. The Name "Rodeo" is in Hangul script.

Review: No frills, cheap beer, a bunch of tables and a bar. Rodeo draws a lot of area English teachers, and students from the local universities. Occasionally a guitar or a deck of cards turns up...a regular haunt of the Pusan literary crowd--a lot of the local musicians and poets get gassed here before and after performances at the Monk. Very casual.
