Amman Park

This park is located in Seodaeshin-Dong, Seo-gu. It affords a beautiful view of the ocean and is a great place to relax and enjoy refreshments.

Geumgang Park

Located at the eastern ridge line of Mt. Geumjeong, Geumgang Park, with its thick pine woods and imposing rocks and cliffs, looks like a miniature version of Mt. Geumjeong. Historically called Sokeumgang (small Geumgang), it is now known simply as Geumgang Park. This recreational area belonged to Dongnae Tohobu (administrative district) in the past and, as a result, has many cultural assets and historical sites in addition to its athletic facilities and walking path. Geumgang Park boasts a zoo, a botanical garden, a cable car, amusement facilities and a well marked climbing course. Not far from the park is Korea's largest public bathhouse, Dongnae Spa, an experience all on its own.

Geumgang Park is surrounded by Chungruylsa shrine toward the southeast and a mountain fortress from the northern to the southern ridge line. Nearby Dongnae Fortress Village is the well known Busan Folk Village. The grand and solemn summit of Mt. Geumjeong, Kodanbong, offers an exquisite view of Busan from 800m above sea level.

Daesin Park

Daeshin park is part of Citizen's Park of Busan and is open to the public year- round. This park, located on Mt. Gubong, is well-known for its dense forest, and attracts many visitors, The annual signal fire festival held on Mt. Gubong is an especially popular time to visit. Recreational facilities, physical training equipment, and a fresh water well are all found in the park.

Central Park (Daecheon Park)

During the Korean War, refugees arrived in Busan and quickly constructed makeshift homes. After the war ended, the city rezoned the area and converted the village of boarded shacks into a park on September 7, 1983. Central Park is in Yeongju-dong, however it is nearer Taecheong-dong, so its first name was Taecheong Park.

Patriots Monument: This sacred memorial tower, situated on the north end of the park, was established in 1948 to memorialize the soldiers and policemen who died to protect Korea. Under the 9 pillars is a semicircular dome, where mortuary tablets are enshrined. The mortuary tablets commemorate the dead,  who were moved from Yongdusan Park on September 7, 1983 at the park's completion. Their spirits are honored in a magnificent tower with a total height of 70m (39m body, 31m upper part).

Sumir Park

This park is located next to the Coastal Ferry Terminal. The park opened in 1998 and its name (Sumir) is a pure Korean word meaning water and dragon. The park was designed as a resting place for those using the ferry terminal.
Its location adjacent to Busan port provides a view of the ferry and many other ships entering and exiting Busan. Many young people use this park for dances, as a special events place and to play basketball.

Sindeondae Park

Shinsondae Parilion, "Playground of the Immortals," was so named because of the legend of the renowned scholar Choi, Chi-won (857-? ) of the late Silla Dynasty, who is said to have played and been transformed into an immortal here.
It is further believed that footprints of the immortals and hoof prints of their white horses can be seen on Mujedung rock on the top of the mountain and that in earlier times one could even hear the immortals at play. It is no legend that Shinsondae Park boasts spectacular scenic views and that on a clear day you can see until ... Tsushima Island, Japan. Just below lie Oryuk-do Islets and Cho-do Island.

Igidae Park

Igidae looks out from the top of Jongsanbong onto the East Sea. The eastern part of Mt. Jongsanbong (225.3m) which meets the sea, offers a beautiful view with many curious and strange rocks and cliffs. It can be a dangerous place to walk so many people enjoy the view from the sea. But Igidae, which is part of Jongsanbong, is a gentle and safe slope of rock which runs into the sea for about 2km. Igidae has an outstanding view of the East Sea and is a great fishing spot. However, an army base was built at Igidae and civilians could not enter until 1993.

Taejongdae Park

Taejongdae Resort, famous for its dramatic craggy coast, has various other natural wonders. Countless unique rocks and more than 200 varieties of trees around the 250m-high peak. King Taejong Muyeol of the Silla Dynasty was said to have enjoyed archery here after the unification of the Three Kingdoms. One well known highlight in all this wonderful scenery, with its rich forests and towering gray cliffs alongside the sea, is Shinseon-am (Shinseon Rock), located below the lighthouse.
Taejongdae is also a highly valued place to study the history of Busan's relationship with nature. In the past, Dongnae Magistrates held a ritual ceremony here to pray for rain during droughts. The park stretching 9.1km along the southern side of the Yeongdo coast, was designated as a tourist attraction by the Traffic board in 1969.
The 4.3km coastal road was constructed over a 3-year period starting in 1970. Sheer cliffs, the sound of the waves and dense forest make for a rewarding visit. A statue of Mother and Children at the Observation Platform provides a welcome smile to every visitor. You can also take in Oryukdo and Tsushima which are both nearby. Both the coastal roads from Yeongdo Bridge and the Great Busan Bridge to Taejongdae provide easy access to Taejongdae by car.

Yongdusan Park

This park received its name because the head of Mt. Yongdu Park looks like a dragon's head. It is located in the center of Gwangbok-dong (Downtown Busan), so from here one can see the splendid night life of Busan at a glance. Also, Mt. Yongdu Park contains a Balgakjeong (Eight Angled Pavilion), flower clock, and Busan Tower. Yongdusan Park ss a great place within the city to relax and enjoy a superb view of the sprawling city.
