As you weave your way through the crowded traffic and mobile phone bearing citizens of modern Pusan, it is easy to forget the massive destruction and loss of life that occurred on the peninsula half a century ago.  A visit to the somber quiet of this cemetery reminds you of the human cost of what occured.  Soldiers from 12 of the 22 participating nations are buried here.  There is also a memorial to some 350 unknown soldiers.
