Pusanweb's Visit to Beomosa (formerly known as Pomosa)
You know, I love taking the pictures and I don't mind building the webpages, but writing the text is usually a drag.  This time, I'm off the hook. Kerk Philips has already produced a great site that answers all the basic Pomosa questions and more. Other sites of interest might be KNTO and Busanhotel.org . Here is our photo-look at Pusan's most famous temple.

These small statues (which can be bought at the gift shop) are arranged in a small stone alcove.  Visitors place rocks on and around them.  These statues are said to bring good luck and I have heard that the stones are placed for making wishes (as well as to prevent te statues being knocked over by the wind).
