I'm looking for an English speaking person to act as my guide and translator on a daily basis during my visit to Korea in November 2000. I want to visit some places in the Pusan vicinity that I visited as a Marine Corps corpsman
during August and September 1950. For example, a day trip to Masan to try and locate an area we called "the beanpatch"; a day trip to Miryang and then to the west to the area that we refer to as the Naktong II battleground.
If you are interested in accompanying me to see these areas
please let me know by e-mail or send a FAX to me in the US at 703-425-6520.

What's next Mr. Editor are you going to tell the people that this 'guestbook' is closed too!
Sadly, yes...or at least to the extent that people won't be able to automatically post here. As long as there are people posting the types of personal attacks we've seen in recent days (which I suspect will be forever), Pusanweb  will no longer offer automatic posting.  Steve, I may not be fond of much of what you've written, but I only felt the need to edit out the parts which rudely  attacked an individual (not their ideas).  The other guys(known by many aliases) pretty much cross the line every time. I find it curious that none of the posters in question have emailed me directly or ever included email information in a posting, so that I could respond directly to them.  I have received several emails from people asking to censor the site more actively as they considered the postings in question truly offensive and detrimental to the site's overall quality.  But hey, maybe you're right - maybe this site sucks and has nothing to do with Pusan.  As such, I will no longer force you to visit. Actually, I agree that this site has been too much shaped by one individual's perspectives and online productions.  I had hoped that Pweb would speak with many more voices by now and am hopeful that in the future, it will.  These posting sections did provide a small, but decent  forum for others to express their views, which is why I find it quite depressing to upload this file. Still, I consider it to be the only reasonable action at this point. To the vast majority of visitors who have filled these pages with valuable postings and will no longer be able do so automatically, feel free to email me with postings and I'll get them online as expediently as possible.  To you wild and crazy guys whose unrelenting stream of verbal ugliness and personal attacks forced this decision, I wish you the best of luck in finding alternative forms of diversion.

We are here, from Australia, for 6 mths. Can anyone recommend an English speaking travel agent so that we can arrange some weekend trips to other parts of the country? Also, where is the best place to make cash advances on our Amex? At the moment, we have to go all the way to Chung'ang-dong from Kumgok-dong. Does anyone have a list of Pusan ATMs which have English instructions? Obtaining cash is proving to be our greatest obsticle - especially since so many places don't take credit card. Any advice will be most welcome. Thanx... Cassie & John

Hello!

My name is Luppo Kuilman (23) and I live in Holland. The reason I am adding this guestbook is to ask anyone who lives in Pusan to answer my via e-mail if they know where my former friend lives now.

I am looking for a girl I have been writing with since I was
14 years old. For some reason we lost contact.
Her name:
Lee Jeong-Suk
she's born at 10-05-1975 and used to live in Pusan in Saha-gu. The last information I have of her is that she worked at
Orient Hotel.

Can please someone help me in finding her. When someone knows where Lee Jeong-Suk lives please e-mail me her adres and telephone-number so I will able in contacting her again.

My name is Luppo Kuilman
and my e-mail adress is: [email protected]

This site has been here and showed me there really was only one guy behind such a huge site (I won't count all the models...). Jeff, you're doing a wonderful job, and I simply wish you the best to fulfill your dreams.
By the way, "sexbridges" takes a while to come : do you want to boost even more your log entries or not?

Take care,
Thierry

Once was a ganster who fell on his face.
That was never going to be surprising or mildly out of place.
If you tried smoking cigars on ya snowboard on rocky spots, you might end up with sticky wet patches too.

Do with one hand?...-> Is that 'solo mio' or just a sin according to po poo silly hat.
Dont speak Italian,I am glad too, Spanish seems more interesting.

I am very strange. I am a fool, its true. I am not crazy. I am male and I am always getting older too. I am lonely, but is more than that. You should know that I can handle the truth from you. 'I' can see things, but that doesn't have anything to do with my feelings, no matter how I seem.

I thorougly enjoy Pusan Web. I am using this site to educate myself
about Korean culture. I plan to visit Korea in the future to
teach English in a university.

Right now I teach business and technical writing in a two-year
college and hold a sales position with a national retailer.
If you want to correspond, feel free to drop me a line on my
e-mail. I'll gladly help anyone with their writing.
