Eugene Blake @ Vinyl Underground

From the start Eugene has tried to do things a bit differently: he's a
complete workaholic behind the decks, confidently mixing and mashing
up genres into a danceable baseline and beat. As a dj his skills show
a unique flair which has built himself a solid reputation for parties
that carve their own path while being able to pack out the dancefloor.
 
Based in Seoul, Eugene is dj and co-founder of both SPEKTRA (bleeps,
squeals, odd electro, bands & house) and MIXTAPE (arguably the
weirdest music in Korea).
 
These nights perfectly display his diverse and ever evolving musical
style: the joyous record digging of Mixtape, and the raucous audio
visual concoction of SPEKTRA.
 
More recently Eugene has been concentrating on music production, and
is currently working on his own original material, along with a couple
of remixes which will be released shortly.
 
This month his dj schedule is as busy as ever.  His next date after
Vinyl Underground will in fact be alongside both Para One and Boys
Noize on the 24th. And with an Australian tour lined up for January
2008 and Asia in spring, things look interesting.
