| YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES |


As the PA / Secretary you will be the right hand of the CEO.

You will be required to manage some company tasks and administration, you will also set and management meetings, manage clients and partner relationships, along with project management tasks and other related tasks. You will primarily be responsible for building long-lasting relationship with different professionals and groups of key business stakeholders.

 

You must be able to manage yourself professionally in all kinds of situations and environments, especially when dealing with senior executives & clients.

 

Are are friendly and likeable, but also able to be strict when you need to. You are also prepared to learn on the job and be willing to expand on your technical expertise and knowledge.

 

| Responsibilities as the Personal Assistant |

 

-Manage various responsibilities and the schedule of the CEO.

-Build good relationships to develop new business opportunities

| Your Responsibilities |

 

 

As THE Japanese Accommodation Manager you will work for our client in PyeongChang. Our client is one of foremost suppliers of accommodation and logistics to the large international sporting federations, international media, event sponsors, multinational corporates and others.

Expectations:

You are the key person in a very fast moving service environment in the heart of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, servicing the most important Olympics Executives and crews, specifically the Japanese speakers.

We support freedom and creativity. The tasks listed hereunder are just an outline of the expected tasks to be performed. You are, however, encouraged to challenge them and propose new, more effective ways to achieve your goals. As an Accommodation Manager you will be responsible for the accommodation suppliers to which you hold the ultimate responsibility of:


  • Prospecting new venues and potential suppliers in the fields of accommodation;

  • Negotiating and contracting with reliable service providers in the fields of accommodation;

  • Quality control at the contracted accommodations, evaluation reports, communication with the suppliers;


| Specific Tasks |

 

 

  • Keeping databases up-to-date with suppliers and contracts related information;

  • Updating and controlling Japanese and other clients bookings through the system;

  • Managing and confirming Japanese & other client bookings, check-in and check-outs, and rooming lists in cooperation with Account Managers (exceptional excel skills required);

  • Negotiating with other suppliers related to the accommodation process.

E.g: cleaning company and other service providers;

  • Planning and organizing of cleaning and other services staff in the apartments;

  • Quality control and client satisfaction, planning of the Japanese & other clients stay process;

  • Meet the targets set for your position (to be set in coordination with the Operations Manager / Country Manager). Potential targets might be:

  • Meetings;

  • Visits to apartments and accommodations in general;

  • Commercial proposals;

  • Sign contracts, etc.


| MUST-HAVE Skills and Expertise |

 

 

  • Strong ability to manage bookings in excel (“without” a “single” mistake!!!)

  • Work experience with international & Japanese clients (and Korean service providers).

  • Fluent in Japanese and Korean (Written / Spoken) with acceptable English level, other languages a bonus.

  • Driver’s license and be able to work in PyeongChang region + own car is a bonus (Minimum 1 year driving experience!)

  • Must be able to handle having very high responsibility!

This is the south-eastern province which surrounds the 2nd biggest city in Korea – Busan.  This region boast warm temperate environment, beautify sceneries and logistical connectivity via the KTX throughout the county.  The main city – Changwon – has a population of 1m people and we also have a lot of county locations with bullet-speed internet!

 

These positions are with the Provincial Office of Education – the Gyeongsangnamdo Office of Education (GOE)

 

They come with EPIK employment contracts.  By coming through the POE; you can choose the city or county you like – a benefit that is not available if you apply through EPIK.  Another benefit is that you can have a choice between a public elementary, middle or high school.

 

Hours are 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.  A wholly-inclusive working environment where you can lesson plan at the school – you wouldn’t have to take any work home.

 

This is a provincial region and therefore the salary range is the highest – 2.2m-2.95m per month; depending on your resume, the location you choose and whether or not you have multiple schools.  Also; if you provide a residency certificate from your country; it can be tax free too.
