The Hermann Hesse exhibition is on at the Busan Museum, Daeyeondong until June 3.
I was pleasantly surprised at the scope of the exhibition - Hermann Hesse was not only a famous German writer, but also painted in his later years. His life and work influenced many other creative people, including Korean artist Paik Nam Jun who has a sculpture included in this show.
The manager of the exhibition speaks English and is happy to give foreigners a personal guided tour of the exhibition, as most of the material presented is obviously in German and the notes are in Korean.
Cost: 9000 won.
