Beach Soccer Tournament

Anyone interested in playing some beach soccer? 

This coming Sunday, June 3rd, the Haeundae Sand Festival is hosting a beach soccer tournament.  Currently there are two foreigner teams registered, but we have room for a couple extra players on each side (the more the merrier)!  

It is an amateur tournament with teams of different skill levels.  It should be a great time, there is no cost and all teams are guaranteed at least 2 games!  If you are interested in playing or getting more info, please contact me (Bronwyn) @ [email protected] or 010 8430 0365.   

 Below is some info about the event: 

There are 32 teams in the tournament with 8 groups.  Each team is guaranteed 2 games each within their group, with the 8 winners from each group moving on.  We will be using size 4 ball (not really sure why) and the pitch (sand) is 30m x 20m. 

It is 5 aside with a keeper, the halves are 12 mins each with a 5 min half time.  Each team can have two, 30 second time-outs.  Subsitutions are on the fly and there is a maximum of 5 per game.  Players have 4 seconds to throw the ball in when it goes out of play.  No shoes, socks,  jewelry, etc. may be worn.  No fighting is allowed and red cards result in one game missed.

The prizes look great and our schedule is pretty good.  Our teams are in the later draw, but players should still aim to be at the beach by 9:00am.  Cheers:)
